The Repubicans aren’t going to fix anything. Case in point: they had the house, the senate and the presidency but they couldn’t even get rid of 0’Dumbocare.

They’re a flaccid, feckless circle of jerks. No plan, no vision, no guts, no glory. Just a bunch of gray apparatchiki whose ambition goes no farther than their own personal enrichment (with exceptions that can be counted on one hand).

I wouldn’t even feed them.

As el gato malo wrote earlier today, you don't get something from nothing, and the GOP offered nothing. They will likely do nothing in the next two years also. Change has to come from the local level or grassroots level like Moms for Liberty did. It's up to us, Team Reality.

Oh, congrats Michael on getting mentioned in Neil Oliver's monologue recently!!

Lee Zeldin just lost to Kathy Hochul in NY. He sprinted up from behind on the last lap and I actually had hope that he would prevail.

He recently announced that he would eliminate all Covid vax mandates.

Except for NY Post coverage about that pledge, I never saw this tenant mentioned in any other news media coverage as part of his platform. Was it media censorship or a choice on his part to not be more vocal about that? Was there a fear of disenfranchising voters?

I know many people who did not want to get vaccinated but chose to in order to keep their jobs.

If they were made aware of that pledge despite being Democrats would that have led them to the R side?

I was a life long die hard Democrat prior to the Covid debacle.

I ran to vote for him based solely on No Mandates, it was my rallying cry.

When I mentioned this vow from him to others, they had no idea about it.

A pity.

I think there's about 5 to 10 percent of Republicans that would be worth keeping in Washington. But that's better than the zero percent of Democrats.

While Mr. Senger is right about what R's should do, virtually all of them believe the state has the "right" to threaten force against honest, peaceful adults. Until they promise to fully support individual rights and sponsor appropriate legislation, they deserve to lose.

Well, given that Republicans have probably taken as much money from Big Pharma as Dems, especially the leadership of the party, it's laughable that anyone could think that Republicans are going to push for Big Pharma accountability.

Unbelievable.

They'll toss Big Pharma, and its money, under the bus ONLY to protect themselves.

My impression after 2+years of 'plandemie' is that Donad Trump &co were mislead in their decision by the Fauci &co, who we know now that mislead entire planet with their fake 'science'!!! if we say "I am not a doctor or scientist and I trust the science"..I think Trump also had trust in his adviser, since he is not a doctor! I think that those fake scientists & co managed to trick Trump in 2020 and still continue to do so in 2022, since they aproved the vaxx to kids ! INCREDIBLE!!!! time to a hard wake up !!!! I appreciate your posts !

Both parties love power and want to tell you what you can and cannot do with your own body.

I refuse to support either of the fascists and we see now that more and more people are seeing what a sham this so called democracy pretends to be.

Civil rights are the hardest thing for these narcissists and psychopaths to figure out, because they see freedom of choice as something that they have no power over. So, instead they try to divide this, essentially saying "some are more equal than others".

So true. It would seem that all over the world politics are seduced by finger pointing at opposition for mistakes made by either or both parties. They continue to treat JOE PUBLIC with total disrespect as though we cannot see the politics for what they are.

Having said that we continue to endorse a system that is clearly broken.

The problem in Australia is slightly similar..all the bat shit crazy left wing states Like Victoria(locked down longer than any other state in the west) and used rubber bullets and truncheons and pepper sprays on end mandate marches(but left the BLM to do whatever they liked)...are showing strong polling and will more than likely be returned..

We didn`t have any political opposition (at either federal or state)to the savagery...

The masses in the US and Australia...are possibly too brain washed for any form of redemption?

In 2020, I began paying attention to the White house coronavirus press briefings in February then watched the videos of them from January. The 15 days to slow the spread purpose was for hospitals to implement their influenza outbreak protocol. California's Newsom was the first governor to implement lockdown. Other governors followed Newsom except Noem. For decades hospitals promoted their influenza outbreak protocol. I think the Nevertrumpers(GOP & Dems) & the CCP were desperate & cleverly outwitted Trump. The nevertump gop won't acknowledge the lockdown catastrophe because it got the result they wanted

No doubt! I don't know of but a literal handful of "Republicans" who even mentioned the last 2.5 years of hell. None of them gave me a reason to support them. At this point in the game, if a politician isn't speaking out about what's going on in our world, they are in on it. I can't vote for people that evidently like, support, or ignore the hellscape that is being created for us.

As someone who lives in Europe, there is a similar situation where the "opposition" (be right or left) has remained strangely silent on all topics related to mandatory vax, lockdowns, restricted measures of freedom of expression, and freedom of choice on covid treatment outside the nomenclature , etc... How not to question the CCP financial power on Italy to impose a lockdown just like in China knowing it would weaken the whole economy and spread through the media fear-mongering towards all Europe ? Just looking at all the companies bought by Chinese in Europe over the past 2 years https://thecritic.co.uk/the-italian-model/

Don’t be so sure. CNN reported on exit polling not matching the voting results. Things were very much in favor of Republicans. First time they have seen this discrepancy. When was the last time actually and no CNN didn’t cover this aspect? The Bellweather counties and Trump. Folks we got played here.
